An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate must have a recognised Certificate to Teach Religious Education. Appointment will be subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and registration with the Teaching Council.
The appointment is initially for an infant mainstream class teacher settings. Clarecastle N.S. has a Special Class for Pupils with Autism with a well developed integration system into mainstream class setting. Experience of teaching pupils with a range of educational needs, particularly Autism would be desirable.
